Welcome to Keetmanshoop

Keetmanshoop is the biggest urban centre in the Karas Region, Southern Namibia. It is also known as the Capital of the South and named after Johann Keetmann , a German Industrialist. Now widely acknowledged as the administrative capital of southern Namibia, Keetmanshoop is attracting significant interest from the private and public investor. Investment opportunities range from real estate, retail, solar energy, to logistics and hospitality. The town boasts virgin town land totalling about 40 000 hectares which is characterised by hospitable terrain for most land use nodes. Some of the most significant investment projects on the horizon include the University of Namibia Campus, 420 upmarket residential plots and the 10 000 square meter retail centre funded by Old Mutual. The Municipal Council values the importance of Private Public Partnerships aimed at delivering essential infrastructure and welcomes investors to tap into the opportunities presented by Keetmanshoop
